About the author - Robert Kenn

I was born and raised in England, yet have spent most of my adult life in Australia. Growing up in a suburb of Greater London, I had no particular urge to travel the world, nor seek more than a simple life of exploring the beauty of the English countryside (between the rain showers!). Even with a move to Birmingham I had no real desire to do any more than pursue a career within the bounds of England.
That all then changed when I was lucky enough to spent one summer working in Oslo, Norway. This completely opened my mind to a broader range of experiences and people. A year later I ceased an opportunity to work in the Australian Head Office of a business, and my entire attitude to the world and life changed.
I have been exceptionally lucky to spend many decades gaining experience across the globe, in different industries and companies. Whilst my background is in the corporate world, for a long time I have held a burning desire to write a book that could be of benefit to others, but I had never found the ideal subject matter until a completely unrelated conversation with a friend about where their life was at, which sparked the idea behind this book.
I am hugely fortunate to love my current job where I get to pursue my passion for making the complex simple, get to help others achieve their full potential, and (when appropriate) add some humour into the workplace to help release the pressure and stress that can arise in our daily lives.
My goal for this book is simply as an additional part of pursuing that desire to make a difference in other people’s lives. I honestly do hope you get some value and insights from this book, and that it may spark some thoughts or actions to help you in your journey towards leading the life you deserve.
